New Neighbourhood Plan – Update Sept 2026

Staplehurst Neighbourhood Plan

Staplehurst Parish Council has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan that sets out a vision for the neighbourhood area and a series of policies which it is proposed would be used in the future determination of all planning applications.

Public consultation on the plan took place between 2nd June 2026 and close on 31st July 2026.

These comments have been considered initially by Maidstone Borough Council, and we await further comments from the Planning Inspector.

Once we have received all the comments we will update you and the Council will respond.
