Get ready for some festive sparkle as Staplehurst Parish Council invites everyone to join us for this year's Christmas Lights Switch-On on Saturday 28 November 2026, with the lights being switched on at approximately 4.30pm on Staplehurst High Street.
Come along and enjoy a festive afternoon for all the family, with local groups including the Guides and Scouts taking part, a tombola with great prizes, and plenty of seasonal treats including mulled wine, hot chocolate and sweets.
Our High Street shops are also invited to get into the Christmas spirit by taking part in the Best Decorated Window Competition, helping to make the village look extra special for the festive season.
It's a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, support our local groups and businesses, and celebrate the start of Christmas in Staplehurst.
🎅 We look forward to seeing you there as we light up Staplehurst for Christmas!
